Hello 2015! I ring in the new year by drinking coffee in my pajamas (my favorite thing let me tell you and yes I admit it is 11:50 am…. I am teacher on break!!) and linking up with Farley at Oh Boy 4th Grade for the monthly Currently!
Listening: Football is on in the background….. that is the case quite often around here! The hubby is watching a game (I couldn’t tell you who is playing, sorry).
Loving: I have loved not setting my alarm clock over break! See my “maybe” section…. Morning person is not exactly my personality! Night owl, YES!
Thinking: This house is messy…. I should probably put away the Christmas decorations!
Wanting: Just a bit more winter break please! Anyone else? I love my kinders and do miss them actually, but after all of the holiday festivities and things, I just want a few days of nothingness before I return.
Needing: So much for wanting more break – I need to go to my classroom! I planned out a ton before I left, but after a few weeks away I feel like I can’t remember anything! So I need to go in and get reacquainted with my dear classroom so that when I return Monday I actually know what I am doing.
Yes- I will have better food habits. I have to. For my health, headaches, happiness, sleep habits, etc – food plays a big role in all of those areas and is my biggest obstacle to feeling my best!
Maybe – I can be a morning person? Maybe? Someday? Probably not, but here is to trying!
I wish…. I wish I loved to exercise. I LOATHE it with the fire of a thousand suns. I hear people say they get used to it and look forward to it and feel better, etc. I believe them. For some reason I must be defective because that doesn’t happen to me. I usually feel bored, tired, in pain, and wishing I could take a nap. Or eat a snack. I know I NEED to exercise and find something I love… so here is to working on that area this year! Maybe I could bribe myself.
