Clip cards are so versatile and these Christmas counting clip cards are no exception! Clip cards can help with fine motor skills, provide a unique way to practice different concepts, and are lots of fun. These cards are great for pre-k or kindergarten students working on counting sets of objects and number recognition to 20.
*Pair these with our Pre-K clip cards or Kindergarten Clip cards for more learning fun throughout December!
Christmas Counting Clip Cards
We have been using colored counters as my son finds clothespins a bit hard to open and close. He still works on his fine motor skills as he has to pick up the thin counters, and will work up to being able to pinch and open the clothespins eventually.
Caleb now understands the objective of this activity, having played before, so I did not have to demonstrate what needed to be done. If this is the first time introducing these to your students then do the following:
- Count the objects on the card
- Repeat the number
- Place the counter or clothespin on the correct number
We were able to complete this counting activity up to 15, but play with the numbers that your child or group of students is most comfortable with.
