Christmas Counting Clip Cards
These Christmas clip cards are fantastic for working on fine motor skills. They also provide a unique way to practice different concepts and are just so festive! Even better, they are easy-prep and if you laminate them you can use them over and over again!
How to Prep
We have been using colored counters as my son finds clothespins a bit hard to open and close. He still works on his fine motor skills as he has to pick up the thin counters, and will work up to being able to pinch and open the clothespins eventually.
How to Play
If this is the first time introducing these clip cards then it’s always a good idea to start by modeling the activity to your child or group of students that you are working with. Here’s how to play:
- Draw a card from the basket or pile
- Count the objects on the card
- Place the counter or clothespin on the correct number
We were able to complete this counting activity up to 15, but play with the numbers that your child or group of students is most comfortable with.
