Ways to Play
Matching the Pairs: This St. Patricks’s Day Printable Matching Game can simply be used for matching the pairs. This way to play is especially suitable for early learners. Students can look at all the pictures and find the matching sets.
A matching activity like this seems like a simple task, but it does involve a lot of skills to get it right.
The most important skill is that of visual discrimination. It is the same skill that we use to recognize letters and numbers when we read, write and do sums!
Memory Game: You can also use the cards as a memory game. Turn the cards face down, then try to find a pair by only turning two cards at a time. If it is not a pair, turn it back and remember where you have seen it!
Find all the matching pairs. Play with a friend and take turns to find pairs. Whoever matches the most pairs at the end of the game wins!
