Is it just me or are buttons a staple in every classroom? We use buttons for craft projects, math manipulatives, science exploration and the list goes on and on! Today we’re going to keep it simple and use buttons for counting with these Button Counting FREE Printables!
Button Counting Free Printables
These adorable printables are suitable for grades Pre-K and Kindergarten. They’re perfect for small groups, homework or math centers!
What I like most about these Button Counting Free Printables is they are great for independent practice. I would even encourage you to add a basket of buttons to your center or small group so that children can use them to check their work.
Count & Write
To start, you’ll need buttons! You’ll find a simple count and write printable in this set. For this printable, I like to give children options for writing tools, so include pencils, colored pencils and crayons in your center!
Cut & Paste
The second printable in this set is a cut and paste activity. This is another opportunity to give children buttons for counting and checking their work. For early learners you might also include a number chart nearby for reference. In doing so, you’re building confidence in your early learners.
My favorite thing about this printable is the opportunity for children to stretch those fine motor muscles while cutting and pasting numbers.
