Sort by color, straight/curved sides, or holes/no holes with these Number Sorting Mats. Choose the mat that will work best with the number manipulatives you have.
The color mat is editable so you can type in the colors that you would like your students to work on! To play, kids choose a number and place it in the box with the corresponding color word.
This Magical Domino Dots activity is an easy-prep way to work on counting skills. Simply print the domino mat, grab some numbers, and you’ll be ready for counting fun any time of the year!
Students start by counting the number of dots on the dominos. Then they place a number manipulative on top of each box to show the total number.
Use this Number Grab and Graph as an independent activity or turn it into a super fun partner game! Students can race to see who reaches the top of their graph first.
If adding this activity to your math centers, put 5 number manipulatives in a cup. The kids will write the 5 numbers across the bottom of the graph. Then they can pull out a manipulative and color the box above the number on the graph.
