Pete the Cat is a beloved character in my classroom, and we love collecting all of the Pete the Cat books to read and enjoy throughout the school year. We even have a stuffed animal Pete the Cat that we take turns holding at circle time! I can imagine he is a popular character with your kids too, but if not, be prepared for him to be well loved after that first read aloud!
