Printable Thanksgiving Placemats for Kids

Looking for a fun but simple Thanksgiving activity for your kids? Just print these free Thanksgiving placemats, give your students a box of crayons, and let them create their masterpieces!

There are 3 different placemats to color in this printable set:

  • Our fall-themed “Happy Thanksgiving” placemats include some fun, fall items to color such as leaves, acorns, and naturally a cute little turkey.

Ways to Use the Placemats

All of the placemats have a fork, spoon, and an empty plate to color. Kids can get really creative on the empty plate. You could ask them to draw their favorite meal or whatever they like.

If you are completing this activity ahead of the big Thanksgiving meal then I recommend laminating these printable placemats after they have been colored. Then your students can take them home and use them year after year!

Another option is to laminate them before they are colored. Then your kids can color them with dry erase markers. They can erase and color again and again as many times as they want!

Now all that is left is for you to print these and share them with your kiddos!

BONUS Thankful Song!

Songs are powerful AND super fun too! That’s why we want to share with you one of our favorite songs for November.

This is a simple song about thankfulness and is sung to the tune of “Up On the Housetop.” Start by singing this song as a class and then going around and sharing what you are thankful for!

Check out the video to hear our thankful song in action. You will definitely want to sing it with your students this year!

Let’s be thankful.

Thank you, I say.

Not just on Thanksgiving Day.

Thankful for friends
,

and fun, and school.

Thank you!

Thanks!

Being thankful is cool!

I’m sure this blog page will be more helpful to a good deal of readers like me.

    1. Yes! Thanksgiving Thanks is something not just kids need to be involved- everyone. Holidays are too commercialized. Christmas ads have literally drowned out Thanksgiving
