If you want to make Thanksgiving extra special in your kindergarten class or at home, print out these fun FREE Printable Thanksgiving Placemats! We have the best time in our classroom with Thanksgiving crafts and activities this time of year and this one is definitely one of our favorites!

*Pair with our Thanksgiving Centers & Activities for Pre-K & Kindergarten!

These FREE Printable Thanksgiving Placemats for kids will make your Thanksgiving meal at home or in the classroom extra special this year!

Printable Thanksgiving Placemats for Kids

Looking for a fun but simple Thanksgiving activity for your kids? Just print these free Thanksgiving placemats, give your students a box of crayons, and let them create their masterpieces!

There are 3 different placemats to color in this printable set:

  • Our fall-themed “Happy Thanksgiving” placemats include some fun, fall items to color such as leaves, acorns, and naturally a cute little turkey.

  • The second “Happy Thanksgiving” placemat option also includes a turkey to color, as well as a fun letter T recognition game, where students are asked to color all the T’s.

  • Our “Give Thanks” placemats include fall leaves and a fun turkey to color, with the turkey peeking from behind the plate.

Ways to Use the Placemats

All of the placemats have a fork, spoon, and an empty plate to color. Kids can get really creative on the empty plate. You could ask them to draw their favorite meal or whatever they like.

If you are completing this activity ahead of the big Thanksgiving meal then I recommend laminating these printable placemats after they have been colored. Then your students can take them home and use them year after year!

Another option is to laminate them before they are colored. Then your kids can color them with dry erase markers. They can erase and color again and again as many times as they want!

Now all that is left is for you to print these and share them with your kiddos!

Yes! Thanksgiving Thanks is something not just kids need to be involved- everyone. Holidays are too commercialized. Christmas ads have literally drowned out Thanksgiving
