Learning about shapes is fun, but we made it even more engaging and interactive with this Desert Shape Search activity!
Students will work on 2D shape recognition as they roll the die, identify the shape, and use a manipulative to cover the shape on the mat.
These Gila Monster Clip Cards will add tons of alphabet and fine motor fun to your literacy centers!
Add the clip cards to a small basket with some clothespins and kids can choose a card, identify the letter sound, and clip the picture with the matching beginning sound.
These Desert Animal Pattern Cards are perfect for working on beginning patterning skills. We even included an optional recording sheet.
To play, students use the picture cards to copy the patterns on the strips and then color them on the recording sheet.
