Subtraction cards for 4 different manipulatives (192 cards total!) with differentiated options included for:
Pocket Chart Subtraction Sort – Sort candy pieces in a pocket chart by placing them under the correct jar after solving the equations! (65 equations)
Kitty Cat Subtraction – Pick a yarn card and read the subtraction problem. Use a five frame to solve it by filling in squares and crossing them out to show the equation.
Subtraction Scoops – Pick a cone card and read the subtraction problem. Use a ten frame to solve it by filling in squares and crossing them out to show the equation.
Teddy Bear Subtraction Mats – Use real buttons or play dough, etc. as “buttons” on the bear to solve the subtraction equations within 5. Write the answer with a dry erase marker. (20 cards total.)
Cookie Subtraction Mats – Use the printable cookies or a manipulative of your choice to solve the subtraction equations within 10 on the cookie sheets. Use a dry erase marker to record the answers. (20 cards total.)
Cookie Crunch – Pick a cookie card and read the subtraction problem. Use the cookies to help solve it on the mat and record the problem in the matching letter box.
Hungry Puppy Subtraction – Solve the subtraction problems on the dog bones. Use the work mat to help you!
Scoopin’ Up Subtraction – Solve the subtraction problems on the ice cream scoops. Use the work mat to help you!
Balloon Pop Subtraction – Pick a balloon card. Find and solve its matching subtraction problem, recording the answer!
Black and White Copies of color items are included at the end of the file.
