June Pocket Chart Activities

Description

This pack has 3 pocket chart chants and games for your students! Play in a small group, whole group, or use in math or literacy centers for engaging, interactive learning.

Simple Prep – Endless Fun! Cut and laminate the chants and game pieces. You will need a pocket chart, and you may want a basket or bucket for the pieces as kids pick them out after the chants.

Pocket Chart Activities Included:

Ice Cream – Work on upper and lowercase letters by matching the ice cream scoops to their cone. You can choose to match upper to upper/lower to lower, or mix it up! Includes an optional recording sheet.

At the Beach – Use the included page to type in your custom sight words for this game. You can then choose to have students read and match shells and buckets, OR print the optional recording sheet for a sight word matching center. Can also use with names! *Also includes numbers 0-20/ten frames or number words, and optional recording sheets.

Sunny Day – Work on beginning sounds by picking a sun and saying its sound. Then, find the sun on the recording sheet and write its letter! (Print double-sided)

Black and White Copies of color items are included at the end of the files.
