SIGHT WORD CENTERS AND ACTIVITIES INCLUDED:
Rainbow Words – Use colorful crayons or pencils to trace over the words.
Sight Word Sandwiches – Match up the peanut butter and jelly sight word cards. Record some of the words you match!
Sight Word Splat – Pick a paint can and read the sight word. Build the word with paint splat letters. Record some of the words you build!
Roll a Word – Roll the die. Record the words you roll on the graph. See which word gets to the top first! *Printable dice included as well as inserts if you use plastic dice with sleeves.
Word Mats – Use stickers, q-tips and paint, sequins, crayons, play dough, or any other items to fill the word. Write the word all around it!
Sight Word Mini-Books – These easy-prep books require just two folds! Then students color, trace, and write the given sight word.
Magnet Match – Use magnets to build the word on the card inside the box.
Read/Build/Write Construction Mats – Use magnets to build the word on the card inside the box. Then use a dry erase marker to write the word.
Gumball Build-a-Word – Pick a gumball machine and read the sight word. Build the word with gumball letters. Record some of the words you build!
Sight Word Cards – Use these cards on a ring, in a pocket chart, for a memory game – however you wish!
