CVC Word Family Fluency Passages for Emergent Readers

Description

These fluency passages for early readers contain decodable text with a CVC word family focus along with high frequency words for students to practice fluency and comprehension.

There are 23 word family story passages for students to read and illustrate and 23 fluency phrase pages for students to practice reading phrases in isolation. These pages also incorporate punctuation such as question marks or exclamation marks so that students practice fluency with different punctuation.

⭐️The following word families are included in both the passages and phrase pages:

• short a: -at, -am, -ap, -an, -ag, -ad
• short e: -et, -en, -ed
• short i: -it, -in, -ip, -ig, -id,
• short o: -ot, -op, -ob, -og
• short u: -un, -ub, -um, -ug, -u

There are also “digital ease” versions included if you would like to upload/assign directly in Seesaw™, Google Classroom™, etc.
