If you are like me, you are always on the lookout for great children’s books. I tend to add more books than I can handle to my collection, but sometimes it’s so hard to resist a new book! It is important to choose books to keep your child engaged and active in the reading process. Even just 20 minutes of reading together a day can make a big difference.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar This classic by Eric Carle will keep your child engaged while it teaches the life cycle of the caterpillar along with the days of the week. The colorful and iconic illustrations show the journey of a caterpillar eating his way through the week before finally turning into a butterfly.
