Alex

CEO & Founder

Alex founded TKC while working as a Kindergarten classroom teacher as a way to further connect with other teachers like herself.

Through The Kindergarten Connection, nearly 200,000 teachers collaborate together from all around the world!

Alex currently teaches Transitional Kindergarten in Washington State and is constantly inspired by all of the amazing teachers she works with both online and in person. She loves helping other early childhood educators gain confidence, save time, and stress less.

Mandy

Director of Operations

Mandy oversees all of the team members and happenings here at TKC. From running point on big projects to making sure the day to day tasks run smoothly, she ensures that we are bringing our teacher community the very best!

Mandy is a former Kindergarten teacher turned education blogger. She lives in Gilbert, Arizona with her husband and 6 children where life is full and there’s never a dull moment! 

Mary Rose

Marketing Director

Marketing Director and expert at connecting the dots to make someone’s vision come to life, Mary Rose helps us stay growth-oriented and creative here at TKC.

She is married and is a proud mom of 5 beautiful children. Mary Rose is also a former elementary school teacher with a Master’s Degree in Education, specializing in curriculum design and instruction.

Jen

Technology Manager

Jen is a vital part of our behind-the-scenes team, ensuring that our resources reach our community and that technical operations run smoothly!

Jennifer loves everything about data and technology. She works behind the scenes keeping systems running smoothly and quickly resolving any issues that do pop up. To take a break from technology, Jennifer enjoys spending time outdoors and learning how to dance hula.

Michelle

Website Content Manager

As our resident SEO expert and blog post writer, Michelle makes the TKC blog teacher-ready for you to find and access the best printables, resources, and to connect with our community. Additionally, she works to organize and bring our Print & Play Club members all of our amazing club-exclusive resources! 

Michelle is a former elementary teacher of almost 10 years turned stay-at-home mom. She is a proud Arizona native and currently lives in Gilbert, AZ with her husband and two daughters.

Alyse

Product Manager

Alyse is our Product Manager. She helps to create our amazing printable activities and resources based on teacher requests and the needs of our TKC community! 

Alyse is a former 1st and 2nd grade teacher who lives in Arizona with her husband and 2 children. She loves creating learning activities, canning jams and jellies, spending quality time with her family, and drinking Dr. Pepper!

Kate

Teacher Support Specialist

Kate is the teacher supporting the TKC community in our inbox. She is behind the scenes connecting with teachers, supporting their classroom questions, and helping them make the most of our resources. You will also find Kate on The Kindergarten Connection Facebook page, bringing real-time support to our teacher community!

Kate is a Special-Education Preschool teacher in WA state with nearly ten years of experience in early childhood classrooms. Like many teachers, she isn’t one to turn down a good cup of coffee!

Carrie

Image Design Specialist

Carrie is our Image Design Specialist. She brings to life our TKC images on the blog, our Pinterest pins, and various social media images, too! 

Carrie lives in Michigan with her awesome husband and two very active boys. She loves reading, creating digitally, and making learning fun for her boys. She has a degree in Child Development and Family Studies.

Sarah

Activities Photo Specialist

Sarah is our resident Activities Photographer. She makes it possible for our community to see TKC resources in action through her photography. 

As a former Elementary School teacher, she loves anything creative and education related. She presently homeschools her children and teaches English online. A native Arizonan, Sarah currently lives with her husband and four children in the beautiful pines of Northern Arizona.
