I’m always looking for more ways to make learning the alphabet fun and exciting in Pre-K and Kindergarten. I decided to turn each letter into its own adorable craft. We spent about an hour a week for the past school year making this beautiful collection of Quick & Easy Letter Crafts from A-Z but you could instead do one a day for the first few weeks of school. Either way, you will be left with a gorgeous collection of kid-made crafts that celebrate each letter of alphabet!

Learn the alphabet with these Quick and Easy Letter Crafts! They're great for practicing letter recognition skills in Pre-K & Kindergarten!

Quick and Easy Letter Crafts

If you’re stocking up on supplies, here’s what you’re going to need to make these quick and easy letter crafts (each letter craft has their supplies listed in their individual post as well):

  • Cardstock: all rainbow colors, brown, black and white
  • Glue sticks or liquid glue
  • Cotton balls
  • Bingo dabbers
  • Googly eyes
  • Pom poms
  • Markers
  • Scissors (for the teacher or parent)
  • Fake jewels
  • Glittery tape for the Queen and King crafts – can be replaced with glittery paper
  • Ribbon/feathers for the hat craft
  • Celery for the fish craft – can use half of a paper towel roll
  • Popcorn kernels for the corn craft
  • Jellybeans for J (can use jellybean shaped paper)
  • Muffin liners and/or coffee filters
  • Various pasta shapes
  • Paper plates (at least red)
  • Paints (watercolors and/or acrylics)
  • Paintbrushes
  • Water cups
  • Paper towels or rags
  • Bubblewrap for the octopus craft
  • Star stickers
  • Green pipe cleaners
  • Tape
  • Q-tips
  • Yellow yarn
  • Red glitter or tissue paper
  • Shaving cream for the watermelon paint
  • Black beans for the watermelon craft
