The One-to-One Correspondence Count and Move strategy is the best way I have found to get my kiddos counting consistently and accurately, and I think you’re going to love it too!

Counting can actually be really tricky for students. Sometimes they count things more than once. Or, sometimes they don’t count everything. But the Count and Move strategy can really help with the typical counting challenges students encounter.

Count and move is exactly what it sounds like. Students put their manipulatives off to the side and then physically move each item to a new area as they count!
