I can’t believe it is October. I feel like school just started yesterday! Although thank the Lord it didn’t because let me tell you I am soooo glad we know how to sit on the carpet now! It is pretty important in kindergarten in case you didn’t know. 🙂
I have linked up with Farley over at Oh Boy Fourth Grade for the October Currently. Have you linked up yet?
Listening – Some sort of terrifying commercial/preview for an evil doll is on tv. I am pretty sure I will now have nightmares, and that this is some sort of relative of Chucky. Make it stop.
Loving – I love the leaves in Fall! Today my kinders were making giant leaf piles outside and gathering them up – it was awesome. One of them told me “They are falling right out of the sky!!!” and it was so fun to see their excitement.
Thinking – Remembering and reflecting that October is always waaaaay better than September in school! We know our routines now and it feels amazing! I can say “get in your lines for recess/wherever” and they Just. Do. It. It is beautiful. If I would have said that in September chaos would have ensued and I would have wanted my mother and a nap.
Wanting – A caramel apple. I love these and every year about this time it is a problem. They start putting them in the grocery store right on the aisles and I swear they talk to me and then I feel sorry for them and must buy them and take them home. They never last more than the night.
Needing – To organize! Badly. In all areas of life. I am trying….. baby steps!
Trick or Treat – TREAT! As we are learning our letters and sounds we have been enjoying doing many different word work activities, games and more to make this learning fun! I know kinders work hard to master those letters, so for the weekend I am discounting my Alphabet Experts Mega Bundle! You can grab it 20% off through Sunday!
