Letter T Craft – T is for Tree

My kids love any excuse to break out the bingo dabbers, so this letter T craft is T is for Tree. It was a welcome addition to our Kindergarten Letter Crafts collection.
This craft would be perfectly timed with Arbor Day, a visit to an apple orchard, or alongside a reading of one of my favorites – The Giving Tree.
There really is never a bad time for a tree craft and my kids each made more than one (lowercase and uppercase) because they just cannot get enough of their bingo dabbers!
Letter T Craft – T is for Tree
First, gather your materials:
- Green and brown construction paper
- Red bingo dabber
- Scissors (for the parent/teacher)
- Glue sticks
Using the scissors, prepare the shapes needed for making your tree letter craft – each child will need:
- 1 green “tree top” (cloud-shaped)
- 1 brown “t” trunk
Provide the children with the necessary shapes, glue sticks and bingo dabbers. My kids also always have access to markers and crayons, so keep that in mind if you want to allow the children to personalize their crafts even further.
Simply have the kids attach their tree trunks to their leaves with the glue sticks and then let them dab to their hearts’ content! I let my kids do both upper and lowercase t’s because it was a great way to expose them to both letter forms and also it let them get a bit more dabbing in without over-saturating their crafts with ink.
Our T is for Tree Letter T Craft turned out super cute and were easy to make. You could make a whole forest of “t’s” with them!
