Celebrating special occasions, like holidays, with your students can be so much fun. I love getting my students a little something special to let them know I am thinking about them. But it can get expensive to get something for each student. So I’ve put together some ideas for inexpensive holiday gifts for students to help you celebrate without breaking the bank!

Holiday Gifts for Students
I love getting little gifts for my students, especially around the holidays, but sometimes I get stuck. I don’t know what I can get that they will enjoy but won’t bankrupt me.
The wonderful thing about kids is that they really love anything. You are their hero when you give them a shiny sticker! So gifts are really no different. They will just be excited to be getting something from YOU!
My favorite places to get inexpensive holiday items are the Dollar Store, Oriental Trading Company, and the Target Dollar Spot.
Here are some ideas for inexpensive holiday gifts for students:
- Hot chocolate pack
- Book (a lot of times Scholastic has $1 books)
- Tub of playdough and a cookie cutter
- Fun holiday bookmark and a sheet of holiday stickers
- Holiday stampers and a holiday notepad
- A little craft kit
- Fun holiday pencil and eraser
- A mini coloring book and crayons
- Holiday slime
- A holiday treat bag
- Anything else you can dream up!

Holiday Gift Tags
You can dress up the simplest of gifts with a cute tag! Cute packaging and a little rhyme, can turn anything into a gift in no time (see what I did there?)!
Take these adorable holiday gift tags. Without them, you simply have a couple packages of hot chocolate mix. While kids are excited about most things, even they may look at you questioningly if you just hand them some loose packets of Swiss Miss!
But put those same packets in a little cellophane baggie with a few marshmallows and these cute gift tags, and now you have a holiday gift that cost you $5 for the whole class!
