Sight Word Printable Games

I love giving my students games that are easily differentiated. These sight word games can be played with any list! That means all of my students can use them no matter what sight words they are working on!

Rainbow Roll

With Rainbow Roll, they simply roll the dice and write the sight word using the corresponding color. This is great practice for reading color words!

My kids get especially excited if I bring out the skinny markers (they LOVE them) or other fun writing tools that are only used for sight word work.

Order Up!

Spinner games are always a hit! In Spin and Write, students take a pencil and paperclip (for a quick DIY spinner), then spin and see what color they are writing their next sight word in!

Roll and Write

Roll and Write is a dice game that easily becomes a favorite because it turns into a game of “How full can your page get?”

Simply roll the dice and write a word the designated number of times! It may get full and messy looking – but they love it, and I love that they are reading and writing their sight words repeatedly and getting them to stick in their memory!
