The other day I had these “write numbers to 100” charts sitting out on our dining room table and my 11 year old daughter asked if she could use them. I actually thought she meant that she wanted to use them as scrap paper, until I looked over and saw her actually filling in the hundreds chart! It doesn’t matter how old we are, it’s so much fun to be able to completely fill out a hundreds chart! We immediately feel successful and accomplished. I just know that your early learners will feel the same way when they use these FREE Number Writing Printables!

*Pair this with our Roll and Color Math Games for the Year!

These printable number charts are suitable for grades pre-K through 1st grade.

I would encourage you to use these in your homeschool, traditional classroom or for homework!

I have a couple of fun ways you can use them in your classroom and I’d also like to share my favorite features of these printables with you!

Printable Features

This printable set comes with three different number writing printables.

There is a “write your numbers to 20” printable, along with a “write your numbers to 50” printable and lastly, the “write your numbers to 100” printable.

Tip: Be sure to place a hundreds chart nearby so your students can use it as a reference if need be. We want our children to feel successful right away. You can remove the hundreds chart from their view for a little challenge or for testing purposes.

Ways to use the Printables

My favorite way to use these printables is to place them in a math center with a variety of writing tools.

This is a chance for little ones to have fun with writing! Kids love to use colored pencils, markers, crayons and even pens when appropriate! I like to foster a love for writing and I do this by giving my students many opportunities to write with fun writing tools.

Tip: You will want to start with the “numbers to 20 chart” for early learners and then slowly build from there.

You can also laminate these printables  and place them in a math center with laminate and erasers.
