Spring is here and so is Spring Break! While we are super excited for break, we also know that there is a risk of students backsliding and forgetting some of the newly taught curriculum. Fear not! I have a simple solution for your students. This Editable Spring Break Homework Printable is an opportunity for your students to work on skills over spring break! Want one of these for Winter Break? Grab it HERE!

Editable Spring Break Homework Challenge

I want my students and their families to enjoy breaks away from school and not worry about homework.

However, I also know that several of them may not do any reading at all over the break (and we know how important reading is!) Unfortunately, this sometimes happens to the ones who need it most.

I like to send home this Fun Spring Break Challenge to motivate families to work on some skill building over the break. It is simple and kids love to complete it for a little prize (candy, bookmark, or fun eraser – I come up with something simple.)

Note: I also allow all students the chance to complete the sheet with me for a prize, especially if I know of any situation where they maybe didn’t have parent support to complete it. I will count with them, help them with sight words etc. and count it as extra practice when they return so that they can feel proud of accomplishing it too!l

Prepare

This Editable printable is super easy to use! Just save the file and open in PowerPoint. Simply type in the activities that you’d like your students to practice inside of the spring flowers. Save and print!

Tip: You can create more than one Spring Break Challenge sheet with different skills to differentiate for all students!
