My friends over at The Elementary Entourage and I are so excited to share a bit about our Teachers Pay Teachers Conference experiences in Vegas this year! Did you go as well? Link up with us and share – we would love to hear about your experience!
I have never been to Vegas before. Needless to say, I was a little overwhelmed! There is so much going on and it is such a busy place! My roomies and I stayed at the beautiful Venetian. Pretty sure we got lost just about every day. Possibly multiple times a day. It is H.U.G.E.
It is definitely beautiful though, and they do a good job ensuring you have no idea what time it is with areas like this with the pretty fake skies. It’s midnight? No it’s daytime! Who knows?
Some of the lovely ladies from The Elementary Entourage and I getting ready for some awesome learning and motivation!
I got to meet the lovely Melissa from Mrs. Dailey’s classroom in person! She is so sweet and was kind enough to share this picture with me from her super awesome camera that I must buy!
I also met Brittany from Tickled Pink in Primary!
Love this photo of Keri from Enchanted Kindergarten, Jessica from Mrs. Plemons’ Kindergarten, Brittany from Tickled Pink in Primary, and I! This was at the Kindergarten networking time provided by TpT! Great fun!
We found some of our gals from All Y’all Need to join in!
I also met the wonderful Tara West – it was so nice to get to chat with her!
Miss Giraffe is so kind and fun to talk with! It was wonderful to meet her in person!
Laura from Tchr888 and I are Instagram friends, and I was thrilled to meet her in person, she is such a sweetie!
Before our sessions on the first day, my roomies and I had coffee with Chad from Male Kindergarten Teacher – it was so nice to get to meet him and talk!
There were some fun places to take pictures in front of the hashtag for this event! My roommates and I took a picture with Laura from Luv My Kinders – she is so sweet!
At the TpT happy hour on the last day, I ran into Just a Primary Girl! It was fun to meet another person I “know” from Instagram in real life!
On the last night there, we went to a fun event sponsored by The Primary Pack! Here are Becky and I posing with their sign!
Probably one of my favorite pics is my roommates and I being silly in the photo booth that TpT had there for us! What fun! I typically am not a super silly type personality (unless I am in a roomful of kindergarteners, then I can perform like no other) so it was fun to just be a bit silly on our last day there!
That was just some of the fun and people I met in Vegas for the conference. I learned SO much as well in all of the many sessions I attended. While I am not able to share that learning with you, as the presenters worked so hard to provide the content to the attendees only, I do hope that you enjoyed the pics, and if you are a TpT-er who didn’t come this year, I hope you come next year! I would love to meet you!
To Teachers Pay Teachers, I am incredibly grateful for how you have changed my life in many big and small ways. I have found a way to channel my creativity and passion for learning and education, while still being a constant learner myself. I have met new friends, collaborated with others, and enjoyed every minute of this journey. Here’s to it continuing for a long time!
