I just can’t get enough of the cuteness of snowmen in wintertime. They are simply adorable! There are so many learning activities that you can do with Mr. Snowman. This Snowman Button Counting Activity is great for strengthening counting and fine motor skills in Pre-K and Kindergarten!

Snowman Button Counting Math Activity

Making this DIY counting activity is simple and inexpensive! You can use supplies that you already have on hand. Make sure to choose a thick paper and also consider laminating the activity pieces once assembled. This will make them durable and reusable for future use!

Supplies Needed:

Grab some cardstock, markers, and buttons to make this simple and fun counting activity!

How to Make the Snowman Button Counting Activity

Using cardstock and the bottom of a small bowl, trace 2 large circles in the center of the paper.

I would consider using this as a math center activity. Put Mr. Snowman, his 10 hats, and buttons in a center for children to practice counting and reading numbers.
