Happy Friday everyone! I missed last week’s Five for Friday – I was participating in Blog Hoppin’s Week of Giving Thanks, which was awesome as well!
This week I am back to share 5 random things from my week!
First, before we get this party started, can I just ask if anyone else is experiencing a case of the “December” in their class? You know that ecard about December lesson plans being scraping children off the ceiling and repeating? Feeling that way right about now…. they came back from Thanksgiving all crazy like! We still have two weeks to go until Winter break, so fingers crossed it was just a crazy week and not month!
Time for the real post…..
Since I missed last week’s 5 for Friday, I didn’t get to post about my fabulous pump soaps that I scored at Bath and Body Works on Black Friday. It was buy 3, get 3, so my mom and I split the deal. I love these soaps. Right now I am using Pumpkin Frost and it is heavenly.
During the TPT sale I went crazy and bought nearly all of Tickled Pink in Primary’s Fluency and Fitness packs! They are amazing! To start out and to learn about how to play, we did the Uppercase and Lowercase Letters set. I am excited to try out the others next week!
I love doing seasonal paintings with my class. They are so fun, and I love seeing their personalities come out! For winter, we free painted snowmen. This little friend’s snowman is extra special to me because she just moved away. 🙁 I was very sad today. We definitely all become like a little family and when someone moves away it is hard! I gave her a little pink stuffed bear as a goodbye gift (I have a collection of little stuffed animals for special occasions like that. She kept clutching it and calling it “her pinky” – it totally melted my heart and I will miss her! I did send her snowman home with her by the way. 🙂
How was your week? Are you feeling the “December?”
