Hello December! I can’t believe that I am linking up on time with Farley at Oh Boy 4th Grade for the Currently Linky! I hope I am this on top of things all month….. Here is what is happening with me right now as I say goodbye to November!
Listening: I am listening to Despicable Me, which is on tv in the background. Minion love anyone?
Loving: My new Christmas tree! We just got it tonight. It is pre-lit and even pre-decorated (I am not lazy I promise – the pine cones and berry decorations on it were beautiful!) I will still be putting on decorations tomorrow.
I think Tank likes it too. No, hubby was not in the back of me dangling a treat to get him to sit and look at me. He just naturally poses this nicely all the time, promise. (wink)
Thinking: About school tomorrow! I went in today for a bit to be sure I am all set for the week (or at least hopefully for tomorrow!) I wish I had just a few more days of break! We only get Thursday/Friday off, and I had parent/teacher conferences right up until Wednesday afternoon so I am not feeling as rested as I would like! However, Christmas vacation will be here before we know it! I always love January in teaching. I feel refreshed and motivated!
Wanting: A gluten free bagel. I am serious – I just went grocery shopping for the week and they were all out!! 🙁 I was really wanting those for some lunches. Oh well, salads it is (my body will thank me I guess.)
Needing: Report cards are coming up…. We get a half day on Friday to work on them, but my goal is to not procrastinate until then! I really need to get them started. I have 26 little friends and I prefer to spread out the work over a few days rather than be stressed and rushed.
Giving: I have been getting things ready for winter in my room. Changing out math games at the beginning of the month is always fun, and the kids love learning new ones! Right now we are working on ten frames and those tricky teen numbers!
Click on the picture below to download a Christmas themed ten and twenty frame matching game! I hope you enjoy!
What are you up to on this last day of November/First of December? (depending on your time zone!)
Are you ready for the month, or do you have more planning to do?
