I have a slight obsession with the Target dollar spot for fun teacher deals, and especially love when they release themed mini erasers each season. Erasers are fantastic for math manipulatives, so I was excited to snatch up their Christmas erasers this month! I thought it would be fun to use them with these Christmas eraser counting cards. Add these into your math centers or Christmas printable collection for fun and festive holiday learning!

Preparation

To get these cards ready, I printed them on cardstock and then laminated them to keep them sturdy.

They are the same idea as our Halloween set, but these go through the number 20 so you can work on those tricky teen numbers too!

If you can’t find the erasers at Target, you can still use these cards. Just use play dough (have kids pinch pieces of dough) or you can find other Christmas erasers like these on Amazon. They may not be the same theme as the pictures, but the kids will still love counting with them!

There are 3 styles of cards: Christmas trees, snowmen, and penguins.

All sets go to 20, so if you have all 3 eraser types, you could use any or all of the sets in a math center. I recommend using one set at a time to make the novelty of it last a bit longer.

For instance, if you put out tree cards one week, snowmen the next, and then penguins, you could have a fun counting center ready to go for the whole month, and kids will be excited each week to see the new erasers!

How to Differentiate

You can also differentiate for your kids too. For example, for younger kids or students who aren’t working on teen numbers yet, just put out cards 1-10.

For kids who have already mastered 1-10, just put out 11-20.

This is a fun math center that is sure to be a hit with your kids!
